“Matevosyan Wine” is a family-owned business. In 2001, Vahram Matevosyan founded a wine factory in the village of Aghavnadzor, located in the Vayots Dzor region, and began producing wines.
Vayots Dzor is Armenia’s largest grape-growing and winemaking region, renowned for its Areni and Voskehat (Xarji) grape varieties. The company owns 120,000 square meters of vineyards in Aghavnadzor, situated 1,400 meters above sea level.
“Matevosyan Wine” produces both grape and pomegranate wines in dry, semi-dry, and semi-sweet red varieties, combining advanced technologies with traditional winemaking methods. Over the years, the company has built a strong reputation for high-quality wines and has gained customer loyalty both in Armenia and abroad.
The company has received multiple awards, as its wines meet international quality standards. “Matevosyan Wine” exports its products to the USA, Russia, Belgium, France, Canada and Lebanon and is actively planning to expand its wines into new markets in the near future.
